Daniela Finke, Berlin
"Reality or fiction? Photography as digital composition"

Daniela Finke´s works are momentary pictures of everyday situations,
showing extreme views and unusual colours to give a new reality. By using
digital means she creates an atmospheric density and irreal accents.
Daniela Finke was born in Hannover in 1958 and is now living in Berlin.
CV: Studies of theatre and media, director assistant at theatres in Berlin,
founding media agency PLASH, Head of Mediaservices of the advertising agency Scholz &
Friends Berlin, lecturer for comunications-design.
The series “Instant Karma” was developed on a tour of Thailand:
Business and Buddhism - how does karma take shape today? What kind of reality do
hostesses experience in temples? Frequent motive: Situations of motion –
frozen, alienated but still recognizable.
