Siegfried Utzig, Berlin
Born in St.Wendel/ Saar in 1955.
Working with black and white photography since the mid-80s. Focusing
on alternative photographic processes since the mid-90s. Especially
bromoil process and gum bichromate print. Since 1998 member of the GfPhE (a society for
fine printing processes of photographies).
Impressions of Iceland
Pictures of touring Iceland not in the traditional way of black and white
photography but as coloured images made in the bromoil process in which the
pictures are treated with oilpaint, brush and a foamroll. This way every
single picture becomes a valuable original.
